Aventurin International e.K. ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Smilify mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how Smilify collects, uses, stores, and shares your information when you use our mobile application and related services (“Service”).

2. Information We Collect

a. Account & Authentication Data

We currently use Firebase Authentication, which may create anonymous user IDs or future authenticated accounts. These IDs may be associated with app usage and analytics data.

b. Usage & Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics and other analytics tools to collect information about how you interact with the Service, including:

• Device information
• App interactions and feature usage
• Crash logs and diagnostics
• Event-based analytics
• Approximate location (if provided by your device)

c. Subscription & Payment Data

Subscription data is handled through RevenueCat and Apple. RevenueCat may collect purchase history, subscription status and device identifiers. We do not have access to your full payment details.

d. User-Submitted Images

When you upload an image of your teeth, the following occurs:

• The image is transmitted to our Firebase backend for temporary processing.
• The image may be sent to OpenAI to generate an automated rating or analysis.
• We do not permanently store these images unless explicitly stated otherwise in future updates.
• We store metadata such as the last time a successful analysis was completed.

e. Future Data

We may expand the types of data we store or collect as the Service evolves. Any changes will be reflected in this Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

• Provide and improve the Service
• Process automated teeth analysis
• Diagnose issues and improve app stability
• Manage subscriptions and access levels
• Personalize user experience and progress tracking
• Ensure compliance with legal obligations and protect against misuse

4. Sharing Your Information

We may share information with trusted third-party service providers, including:

We implement reasonable technical, administrative and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no system is perfectly secure. You use the Service at your own risk.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that a child under 13 has used the Service, we will take steps to delete the data.
